The why

It has always been a dream of mine to be able to invest in some of my favorite brands that I use and love. It took a while to find a way into this world, but I figured it out by connecting with incredible women. Since then, I have become a trusted investor and, in some cases, an advisor to many female-owned businesses. Through this journey, I realized there is an underground world of these opportunities, a world that only people with significant wealth, connections through elite schools, or those with a career in finance or consumer brands have access to. At the same time, there is a gap in funding for female founders. I realized some barriers to more individuals angel investing, including the minimums for direct investment being too high, knowledge, or access to deal flow.

With a few brilliant partners, Stephanie Jill Cartin, Courtney Spritzer, and Ingrid Zapata Read, we decided to launch Pearl Influential Capital. We are making capital accessible to female founders while allowing consumers and brand promoters (influential investors) to own the brands they love, purchase, and support. Ultimately driving an increase in the brand’s audience and a vast speed to market, helping everyone’s investment. Together we can help get these businesses funded faster with influential capital and ultimately help accelerate the growth of the brands and give people like you and me the opportunity to be part of it.
